Anyone can bolt parts into a case, press the power button and call it done. That is not how builds leave our service office.
A computer that boots is only the start. Memory left at its default speed, a fan curve that screams under load, a cable pinched behind the motherboard tray, a driver pulled from a years-old disc: none of those stop a PC from turning on, and all of them cost you performance, noise or reliability later. We look for exactly those things, because we spend the rest of our week fixing computers where someone else skipped them.
So we take our time. Each build is planned from scratch around the person who will use it, not copied from last week's order. We route and tie every cable, set the cooling so the system stays quiet at the desk and cool under a long gaming session, install the operating system and drivers, and then run benchmark and stress tests to prove the machine is stable before we hand it over. If a part underperforms or fails during testing, we deal with it here, not after you have carried it home.

We build, install and test
Assembly, cable management, cooling and BIOS setup by hand at our Cypress Creek Parkway service office, then Windows, drivers, benchmarks and stress tests so problems show up on our bench, not yours.

The honest answer is that the parts decide most of the price, and they move with the market every month. What changes the total: the graphics card, usually the single biggest cost in a gaming build; the processor and motherboard; how much memory and storage you need; the case, cooling and lighting; and the build labor for planning, assembly, cable management, setup and testing.

Because mistakes during a first build are expensive. Over the years we have seen many PCs brought in after a build guided by YouTube videos went wrong: bent processor socket pins, motherboards shorted by a misplaced standoff or screw, power cables in the wrong connector, coolers mounted without thermal paste or with the protective film still on, and parts damaged by static. Any one of those can ruin a processor or motherboard worth hundreds of dollars. An experienced technician avoids those mistakes, catches a faulty part before it causes damage, and tests the finished PC so you are not left guessing why it will not boot.
